sliced cinnamon apples waiting to be barbecued When you are ready to grill your sliced cinnamon apples, its time to start the next stage.
Squeeze your fresh lemon or lemon juice into a small bowl, you must be able to get the apple slices into the bowl.
Slice your apples in full circles or halves, and dip them slice-by-slice into your lemon juice.
This prevents them from turning brown.
You can core the apples first if you so choose, but you really need to keep the skin on, this helps them stay together if you cook them for slightly too long. You can fit a lot more half cinnamon apples on your grill than full rounded ones if you're barbecuing for a lot of guests. Dust or sprinkle each slice of apple with a small amount of cinnamon. Now they are ready to be grilled. Place them over the heat. The time will vary depending on the heat that you have left on your barbecue.
